Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups gluten free flour

  • 1 ½ cups gluten free rolled oats

  • 1 cup grated fresh carrots

  • ½ cup organic brown sugar

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce

  • ¼ cup milk (you can use dairy or plant-based milk)

  • 2 large eggs (organic/free range)

  • 1 teaspoon GF baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon GF baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190 °C)

The ingredients are then mixed together and baked at 375 Fahrenheit or 190 Celsius for 45-70 minutes or until the toothpick or baking stick comes out clear.

Note: Gluten Free baking may take longer depending on the oven and altitude
